WILEY, the publisher of the international scientific journal, has reported that a paper advocating the need to strengthen school health has been the most downloaded article in the international journal “Pediatrics International” during the first year after its publication. The paper analyzes the side effects of school closures in Asia during the early stages of the pandemic of COVID-19 and calls for strengthening school health and minimizing school closures to maintain education for the post-2021 spread of the disease in Asia. Title of manuscript is “Urgent need to strengthen school health in Asia and the Pacific islands”
